Engineering analysis and bearing modification for an existing roof truss system where a section of truss was removed for a new stair opening. Dansco evaluated the gravity (12,500 lb) and uplift (4,100 lb) loads and detailed a new bearing post and 2-ply LVL beam to carry the reactions.
